Privacy policy
Rinora is a loan software platform made by Assentio Mentium Global Technology Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we collect through rinora.in and the Rinora demo, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.
1. Two different roles
On this website, we are the data fiduciary. When you ask for a demo, we decide how your details are used, and this policy applies.
Inside a lender’s Rinora system, the lender is the data fiduciary. When a borrower applies for a loan through a bank, NBFC, co-operative bank or MFI that uses Rinora, that lender decides how the borrower’s data is used, and the lender’s own privacy policy applies. We act only as the lender’s technology provider (data processor), process that data on the lender’s instructions, and do not use it for our own marketing or share it with other lenders.
2. What we collect on this website
- Details you type in the “Request a demo” form: name, role, organisation, type of organisation, loan book size range, mobile number, city, email and your message.
- How you reached us: the advertisement, post or website link you came from, and the page you were on.
- The date and time you gave consent.
We do not ask for, and you should not send, any borrower’s personal or financial data through this website.
3. Why we use it
- To contact you about the demo you asked for, and to follow up on it.
- To prepare a demo in your organisation’s name.
- To understand which of our posts and advertisements bring useful enquiries, in total numbers.
We use your details only for these purposes. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with other companies for their marketing.
4. Your consent, and withdrawing it
We process your details because you agreed to it when you sent the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the email address below. After that, we stop contacting you and delete your details, unless the law requires us to keep a record.
5. Where your data is stored and who can see it
Your details are stored in our database hosted in India (Mumbai region) by our cloud database provider. Inside our company, only the people who handle sales and demos can see them, through a login. Our hosting and database providers process the data only to run the service for us.
6. How long we keep it
We keep demo requests for up to two years from our last contact with you, so that we have a record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete them earlier.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, correct or complete it, delete it, or nominate someone to act for you. You can also raise a grievance with us. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Security
The form sends data over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. The database accepts new demo requests through a restricted function and allows reading only to signed-in staff. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
9. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It keeps the source of your visit in your browser only for the length of the visit, so that your demo request shows where you came from. The Rinora demo stores sample data in your own browser.
